My eyes were puffy and my nose red and runny. I looked at my hands, my mind blank and body numb.
My surrounding was all white even the bedsheets and the gown that I was wearing was the same.
"Can I come in?" Eva peeked inside from the little space. Nodding I smiled a little and slowly first she popped her head inside making sure of something that I didn't know before coming in and closing the door behind her.
"How are you?" She tried to be cheery but knew very well what I was feeling and that I couldn't be all bubbly today. So she just came and held my hand while sitting beside me.
"I know it's hard but please take care of yourself. Doc said you are not in good condition, eat something please." She put a bag, that I didn't see before, on the table and took out some fruits.

This has never happened in any movie or story. It seemed like a joke, my life looked like a paper that was crumbling slowly.
