Surprised

Carol was surprised when she was beside her and found that Nicki was no longer there. She roamed around, even inside the building, but there was no trace of Nicki.

"Hi, Babe. I'm sorry if I was late," Nick said as soon as he arrived. Afterwards, he gave her a swift kiss on her lips.

"No, you're not. You're just on-time," she replied after their lips parted.

"Where's your friend? I thought you were going to introduce me to someone?" Nick asked as he roamed his eyes around.

"Oh, yes, but he's in a hurry. He couldn't wait for you anymore," she replied though she felt disappointed and confused about Nick, a" sudden disappearance.

Hearing that, Nick felt bad again. "Oh, I'm sorry about that."

"No issues," she replied with a smile.

"Alright, let me take your bag," Nick said as he took her bag luggage. Afterwards, they both headed to where Nick parked his car.

Not long after, they arrived at Nick's place. After he parked his car, Carol couldn't help but notice how secured his placewas. She c
