It mattered nothing to him if the businessman was still stupefied, for his face was so pale, before he left.

Gael felt his feet itching to follow the young woman.

With sadness reflecting in his eyes, he stood still. Watching her back, as she walked away, Gael finally understood, that the actions and kindnesses were lies, that she had only been pretending in front of him and his grandfather.

A chuckle escaped his lips.

"I'm definitely a jerk" he mumbled, laughing at himself, he had believed that this young woman could change. Then he knew she had been sincere too, both this time, and that night, when he kissed her in the car.

He sighed.

Levi was still in shock, but Vivían's words reminded him of Gael. The reason for their marriage, was not only to help Alisha's family crisis by doing a joint venture, there were other reasons to accept the Walsh's conditions.

Gael sat in the chair previously occupied by the young Walsh.

His friend, gulped down his coffee.
