Skylar's POV

After Andrian left, I lay quietly on the bed. He doesn't even have a heart because if he does, I'm sure he will know how much I love him.

He just said we should go for a fake marriage like I'm not human. I wish all these things were real.

I wish I was his fiance for real and not just his fiance by contract. I wish the marriage that is about to take place is real.

I fell in love for the first time but the person I love doesn't have a heart. He doesn't care about my feelings one bit and it hurts a lot.

I didn't know when a tear rolled down my cheek and slowly it turned into sobs. After a while, I drifted to sleep.

I woke up in the evening, everywhere was already dark. I'm sure they must have eaten by now but no one even bothered to call me for dinner. 

I got down from the bed and headed downstairs when I heard my stomach rumble. I only ate breakfast so I'm really hungry now.
