CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN

Sharp pain sliced through my shoulder as I kept moving on the mattress. I sat on with a groan and cradled it. That seemed like a nightmare. 

     The room wasn't fully dark. I never had these feelings for anyone before. It was tormenting me more after waking up after a nightmare. I was petrified. Here he was, toying with his ex-girlfriend. We were living in the same home. It wasn't home anymore. 

     "Do you need something?" I shivered hearing his soft but solid voice. 

     I snapped my head. He was sitting on the couch, legs stretched straight over the glass table, his laptop in his lap.

     "Yes, Divorce. So I couldn't see you and your girlfriend any longer around me." I snapped. I wanted to say more.
