Chapter 36

Samantha’s POV 

The lights in my room turned on and off at my control, with me staring into the space and focusing on nothing. My mind was hazy and I felt unsettled. I had shut out Uncle Mark for two days straight, and I haven’t spoken to Adrian as well. 

These two men attempted to reach me, but I wasn’t giving them the chance. I’d lose my resolve if I did.

I didn’t want either of them to lecture me on what and what not. They’d both end up telling me I was treading a wrong and dangerous path.

Basically, why have I stayed in for days?

To think and reconsider my actions. That’s why!
