— Z A H I R —

“Zahir!” I hear the same voice again calling my name but I do not answer it. I am not in the mood to wake up already. I do not feel like it.

“Zahir, get up!” Again it comes, followed by a soft pat on my shoulder. I groan, pushing my face more into the pillow, avoiding that touch. I know it is my wife and I do not care what woman she is. I just know I want to sleep for some more time.

As I do not respond, she groans. “Zahir!” She yells my name in her sharp tone.

“What?” I snap back but sleepily. My voice does not hold that energy yet husky and I do not want to wonder if she understands it or not. I do not care if she understands or not.

“Get up! We don't want to get late for breakfast! Make this a regular habit. I can't believe you're a grown-up man. Is this how you sleep? Like an arse!”
