Chapter 11: I Want Her Back

Bryan opened his eyes with a bad headache. His head kept pounding and he needed to get himself some drugs. As he tried to stand on his feet, he fell back on the bed and groaned.

He looked on the table close to him, but there wasn't any drug, or glass of warm water. He groaned again, recalling that Taylor was gone. She always did that for him whenever he got back home drunk.

He groaned again, rising on his feet and found his slippers. He opened the door and walked out of the room heading straight for the living room.

The usual aroma of the food he usually perceived wasn't the same anymore. When he came to the dining room, his favourite meals were waiting for him. He stared at it wondering how Katie knew all of his favourite dishes.

Mrs Katie stared at him, but didn't utter a word. She didn't want to bring Taylor's name, or say it in front of him because to her, it looked like he was suffering enough with her absence.
