Chapter 50: Letting Go

Talia stayed in her room wondering her next step. She had been expecting Bryan but when she checked the wall clock, it was past 5 already and he wasn't going to come anymore.

Talia rose up on her feet and walked to the bathroom to go take a quick shower and head out. Inwardly, she prayed she would not see Nathan anywhere around the office or anywhere close to Taylor as that would make her so uncomfortable.

When Talia for into the bathroom, she took off her towel and was about to take off her necklace when she suddenly discovered it was missing. Fear gripped Talia and it made her panic.

She tied the towle back and ran to the room. She had to look for that necklace no matter what because it meant a lot to her. It had been around her neck since she was a kid so she couldn't let go of it.

Talia scattered her and turned her room upside down, but it was still nowhere to be found. Then, she suddenly recalled the night stand. It must have fallen off right there in the room with her notice.
