Chapter 70: The Love That Always Existed

Alexander walked right into the ward after a few hours of waiting. Unfortunately, Stella was still asleep and had not woken up.

He wanted to let her be, but he changed his mind when he saw her sleeping peacefully and decided to sit beside her till she woke.

He pulled a seat closer to her bed, sat down and took her hand. Seeing her sleeping made him recall the first time Stella had hurt her ankle because of Bryan and he had to rush her to the hospital in panic.

Again, he recalled when she almost had an accident because of Bryan, and again when she almost went crazy because of him.

Alexander chuckled finally realizing that he had been jealous the entire time. It was only now that he was confident to admit that he had been jealous especially because she would never look at him.

During that time when Stella would suffer repeatedly because of Bryan, he was always the one there for her and guess it hurt him a bit that she never for once smiled at him or even looked his way.
