Chapter 94: The Secret

"Please sit," Bryan said after the long stare had been concluded and he had returned to his senses. He returned his gaze to his laptop while Sasha walked toward the seat.

She took her seat but didn't stop smiling at him so foolishly.

"I received your message."

Bryan cleared his throat aloud and then shut his laptop. He decided not to look at her the way he had just done again.

"I need more information. How can I get into the Mercidi family? I don't care if I have to risk my life or whatever it takes. I need to get closer to anyone of them." Bryan wasn't ready to let Sasha know his reasons. He couldn't trust anyone, especially Sasha.

"You look even more desperate, what's wrong." Sasha leaned closer to the desk separating them and stared deeply into his eyes.
