I woke up, confused. The first thing that I saw was the white ceiling of the hospital, similar to the ceiling of the hotel we had in Greece. I almost smiled and turned to my side to see Maia sleeping soundly next to me, but all that I saw was the IV bag connected to my wrist. For some reason, I felt different. I felt… sadder.

I frowned and looked around. I was wearing a hospital gown, and there wasn’t anyone with me in the room. My head started aching, and I felt a series of scenes flash through my mind, making me hold onto my head.
