Time flies, but her mind is still moving slowly. In fact, her dreams are not about that faceless guy anymore, but a man who bumped into her a month ago. Cali is staring at Laurence, who is asleep beside her. She should be happy, she has a fiancé, and they are going to be parents soon. But why is everything not in its place?
How come she never had butterflies even though her husband is sweet and too good to be true. "I shouldn't feel this way, but I can't forget that Mister in the bookstore," she murmured while caressing his hair.
She stood up and went to the kitchen to drink her vitamins. She stared at her cereal and revisualized the face of that Mister. "Is he alright? He seemed pale when I saw him."
