TCLM#12: How did they become a couple?

The birthday party was family, friends, and icing on top of cupcakes— simple, sweet, and destined to take its place in her album of good memories. Her favorite birthday party has not happened yet. It's celebrating alone with her beloved, naked all day in a warm bed, warmer hugs, and all the things that lovers love. 

The party was the first she attended with pleasure. She attended several parties, but it has no sense of love at all, compared to Laurence's, maybe because she loved the celebrant. She waited for it with good enough lungs and energy levels to party all night long. As a result, they are both exhausted like burnt toast. They were too exhausted to start a conversation.
