He turned off the television and got back to his swivel chair. He leaned his back in the chair and cranked his neck hard over to see the sky from my office window, delft-blue and cloudless and so bright it looked solid.

"So, that's what she meant by turning the table?"  His finger played with a ballpen while staring at the sky. "Unbelievable, she really resorted to that lie? She literally destroys Julia. What a madwoman."

He swiveled back as he straightened the stuff on his desk, making sure everything was square and orderly spaced. There isn't much: a phone, a legal-sized lined yellow pad, a translucent Bic pen with a black top, and a pile of documents to review. He is a little overloaded right
