Chapter 7

CLAIRE JUST continuously followed Zack upstairs. He is still holding one of her hands and he seems to be so excited. He opened the door and it is easy to guess that it is his room. Everything is in shades of blue and that makes his room look so cool.

“Do you want me to see your room, that is why you want me to come with you?” Claire asked him while smiling. 

For a second he seems surprised. “Y-You used to hate my room.” He said sadly. Then he looked at his hand which was tangled to her hand. “A-And y-you don’t want me touching you, especially when daddy is not around.” 

The word shock is not enough to describe Claire’s expression when she heard the little boy saying that. Why would a mother do that? Immediately her heart went out for Zack. He is just a little
