Chapter 36 - She felt nausea.

Liz Walters stirred when her alarm woke her. Groaning, she blindly reached out to grab her clock and switch off the irritating noise, then flopped back against her pillows.

It’s been a month since she’d returned home. Things have been so different from when she’d run away. She believed her grandma has spoken to his grandpa and the air has been strangely calm and light, not oppressive like it’d been before.

Although at first her grandpa had seemed a bit angry and close off around her, he’d gradually eased up to his wife’s new set of rules and to having Liz back in the house.

One night, he’d started a conversation, one which Liz was trying to avoid at all cost – regarding the family business. He wanted to inform Liz, not like he hadn’t done so before for a hundred times already, that she would have to take over the family business.
