“What do you mean you won’t be going? It’s not that jackass’s party. It’s in the loving memory of my wife.” Antonio tried to convince Ruhi about the party on Thursday night while eating dinner with grandma.
“I don’t want to see him again.”
“Come on, Ruhi. You don’t have to see him or talk to him. Besides, Anna will be flying in tonight. She will keep you company tomorrow.”
“Who’s Anna?”
“My god-daughter. She’s as precious to me as you and Rafael are. She takes care of my Italian sect of business. I will be going to the airport to receive her after we finish eating. You can come with me if you want.”
Ruhi felt grandma appear to be a little reserved when Antonio talked about Anna.
