Chapter 25: May I hand you my emotions?

Chloe opened her eyes and blinked a few times to get used to the light. She felt the comfortable sheets under her body and it reminded her where she was. She quickly looked around checking if he was there.

When she was about to sigh in relief, the door from the bathroom opened and a distracted Evan came out, wearing shorts and a towel around his neck. Chloe swallowed hard. How could a man be so perfect?

"Enjoying the view, love?" he mocked as he towel-dried his hair.

Chloe was embarrassed and got up from bed promptly, trying to ignore his presence. She made her way straight to the bathroom, but before she reached the door, Evan held her by waist and glued their bodies.

"Good morning to you too." Evan said in her ear, teasing her.

"Mor…morning!" her voice came out weaker than expected.

Evan gave a victorious smile and let her go. She ran into the bathroom and locked herself there for long minutes.
