Chapter 25 I Via's Sleeping Face

Sean stared out the window that framed his office room. His posture looked stiff with dark eyes like a storm of emotions covering his handsome face. One hand held the cell phone while his free hand was hidden in a pocket.  There was a look of impatience chasing around his aura.

The cell phone in Sean’s hand rang. He waited until the third ring before answering and greeting the man on the other line.

“Oh, Mr. Reviano!”  said the voice that came from the cell phone in hand.  “Why are you calling?  So unusual,” the voice quipped.

Sean gnashed his teeth. This was the reason why he didn’t want to deal with the impunity of humans. These people always felt superior to those who obeyed the rules and paid taxes regularly.

“I want your help,” said Sean with a tone of suppressed anger that had been fostered since the conversation with Altha.
