From time to time, Katia turned around to check on her son and smiled when she saw him asleep. She rested her head against the headrest and turned it to the right with a sad expression, gazing out the window.

Her mind kept circling back to what she had done the day before. Was it the right decision to marry someone she despised? Even if she regretted it, there was nothing she could do now; she was Mrs. Schmidt...
