Chapter 88.
Victoria POV
Take a deep breath and not let her nonsense get to me. That's what I had set out to do from the first moment I arrived at this party and met Dominik's mother, focus on my business and not let her get me out of control. I am not here to befriend or treat Dominik's mother well, I think I am past the resignation stage of knowing that this woman is not going to like me no matter what I do, so I am here with a clear intention, and that is something that she cannot take away from me or that I must stop her from taking away from me. I am here for and for the company that rightfully belongs to me.
And so even though I'm scared, sitting next to her in a cramped place like this around the people who can define my destiny in the company and in my life in general, with a woman who hates me as much as Dominik's mother here, I'm focused on making things right and not letting her intimidate me. I'm going to be the one walking out of this meeting smiling, not her.
