On the Way to New Island

“I thought I wouldn’t be here for this,” Hylas said while he was looking out of the window of his room, his tone was grave.

Arethusa came closer and stood by next to him, “I will get you what you need, it is on the way, have some more patience,”

Hylas scuffed.

“Patience, you say?”

Hylas was walking and talking patience nowadays. All he did was be patient. He had no other emotion to feel, and he had no other emotion to show.

“But is this not a glorious sight to see?” Arethusa could not keep her own feeling in check. This was a day that she had waited long mortal years for, she could not help but feel that one huge sin was being lifted off of her human form’s shoulders.

She had too many sins to go around, but this sin was probably the worst of them all.

“They should never have left in the first place,” Hylas said.

“You cannot undo the past, young one, now rejoice for the future is a brighter one because of their return to where they had always belonged,”
