When time stopped

"It is so nice to be home. I cannot believe I miss these bed covers," Autumn smiled warmly as she cuddled her face into the fur-like blanket on her bed, inhaling the sweet scent of their perfume that had remained with the fabric.

"The room feels empty too. Like we have not been here for months," Evan said as he sat on his bed, spreading his both hands over the soft silky sheets to feel its texture with a smile on his face.

It was the first time that they had returned home after being discharged from the hospital, and he just had to go back for frequent checkups till the doctor ascertained that he was fit enough to go on with his normal life.

Everything felt so different from his house than the hospital that he had been at for quite a while, and the familiar scent of his own space enveloped him and brought a sense of comfort and tranquility, that had been absent during his time in the hospital.

Ava is very annoying. The way she acts toward her daughter! Doesn't she understand that her children want to know who their father is? It's normal, all children have a father. Their school mates have father's. They want one too.
