Attack

I retrieved the small suitcase from the closet; I needed some clothes. I opened it, placing it on the bed. I required comfortable attire and also had to consider the impending winter. I placed some clothes into the suitcase, including about three pairs of shoes. I gathered what creams and perfumes I could find. I was a natural consumer; I couldn't help it if I was such a shopaholic.

I closed the suitcase. I still had my phone, but I couldn't recall where it was. I assumed it was waiting for me in the kitchen. I descended to the second floor, heading towards it, but I was interrupted by knocks at the door. I wasn't expecting anyone, and I didn't even know if someone had informed me, given that I didn't have my phone. So, I wasn't sure if I should be nervous. The door was knocked on again. I could feel my hands sweating. I took an uncertain step. If it was someone malicious, they wouldn't knock on the door, right?

— Olivia? Are you at home?
