Chapter 41. A Morning Full of Surprises

I was awaken by the feeling of someone watching over me in my sleep, so I opened my eyes slowly. The rays of an early morning sun that pierces through the glass window occoupied the room, making me realized that I have slept the night in that couch. My whole body is sore and the memories of the previous event began to replay in my mind.
"Good morning..Princess. I hope you are well rested, I haven't had the courage to wake you up after what happened so I waited."
His deep masculine voice and warm presence completely made me awake. The blush creep on both of my cheeks when our gaze meet. He stood in front of me all dressed up in the clothes that he was wearing the night before. He doesn't look tired at all, even though I don't think he ever slept last night.
There was gentleness and warmth in the tone of his voice.
