Chapter 26 ~ Unseen trap

“Maybe he didn’t mean it.” Juliana tried to pull Kiana back from the hole of misery she had buried herself into but no matter how hard she tried, Kiana just looked straight ahead without saying anything.

It had been a week since she heard Arthur utter such words and now it was only a few days till the launch. Kiana had walked back to her bedroom with tears falling down her face as her heart shattered into a million pieces.
