14. Learning a new way

Realizing that they would spend the entire morning negotiating with his small human that insisted on challenging everything he said, he decided to save them all the frustration.  He was too tired, hungry and annoyed to attempt negotiations.  Not to mention that they didn’t want to draw more attention than they already had, herding his human around the corner and into the alley beside the station.

Pulling out his tranquilizer pistol, he loaded and shot her in the arm.  They could have these discussions at the pack, where they had time and he had probably rested some to deal with her fighting everything.  And perhaps they could have a little more privacy to discuss these matters where everyone was not involved.
