He was so proud of his mate for the way she handled the meeting.  She was really shining in her ability to do business with the cranky old alphas who had seemed to underestimate her from the start.  Of course he hadn’t missed their complete surprise when he’d stood to serve them instead of his mate.

It was time the old dogs learned some new tricks.  And that was to accept his mate for her business and logistical talents.  He had completely underestimated her in the beginning, but he would do his utmost to make up for that.  Of course, Duke has been demanding that he mark their mate, but they had to show patience, since she had not been prepared at all.
