Darius laughed mockingly. "You've been causing trouble for me for quite some time now, but you've never heard of the Reid family? Don't you find that absurd?" His expression darkened at the awkward looks on the reporters' faces. "This means I've been wasting my breath this whole time!"

He cracked his neck. "I want you to know that I'm upset by this; it makes me feel defeated." He tucked his hands in his pockets and swept a gaze over the reporters.

"If that's the case, I don't think any of you should continue working as reporters. Of course, you can return to the newspaper office to pack your things. I'll be making a trip down there to speak to your employers."
