Chapter 1079

Darius couldn't continue meditating anymore. His face started turning black—it was a sign of looming death. Anxiety started creeping up on him when he sensed this. Darius had never imagined this situation before.

He exhaled, then breathed in. He did this a few times while squeezing his eyes shut. At this moment, Bridget burst into the room. She'd been in her room, thinking about what Darius had told her. Suddenly, an abundance of life force filled the apartment.

It was out of control and hurtling everywhere. Immediately, Bridget knew something had gone wrong. She'd gotten to her feet when a strong burst of life force pinned her to the floor. She had to wait it out before she could scramble to her feet and race toward Darius' room.
