They were all aware that Cesar David had a lovely daughter whom he adored, but they never met her, and upon questioning him, they discovered that she was a quiet girl who disliked parties. Therefore, receiving an invitation to this party came as a surprise to all of them.

Danielle and her father arrived at the location, her hand wrapped around his arm and her head held high, but something was missing from those eyes—a dissatisfaction that overshadowed the happiness that would have come from having Monica and Sam at the party.
