Monica is not at the home

There was a yearning to return home and be with a person who made this cold castle a home in William's eyes. William got to the Castle in the late hours of the night. Additionally, he was unable to call Monica because his phone had run out of battery, due to which the desire to see Monica increased further.

Furthermore, a strange anxiousness in his heart had been bothering him since the early evening, which kept him running as fast as possible toward the room to meet Monica.

Upon approaching the door, he noticed that Monica was not in the room and that the old woman was simply starting the fire in the fireplace. The bed was also immaculate, with no signs of anyone having slept or sat on it.

“Where is she?" William asked in a low voice, taking off his coat and tossing it onto the couch. Since it was almost the middle of the night he had anticipated seeing her on the bed, but getting no glimpse of her anywhere in the room the formerly thrilled expression on William's face darken

I bet Monica's dumbass will use basic common sense the next time people who openly hate her ask her to go somewhere. Nothing like being burned with irons for a while to reactivate the common sense and self preservation parts of the brain
