"Does it make a difference to you?"

William murmured as he cast a foggy glance down at Monica. His heart palpitation increased when he saw her standing in his shirt. It was as if his eyes were forced to immortalize her beauty in them, to glorify it every time this shirt would appear in his sight.

“Since we are husband and wife, even if it is fictitious, I would want to have my husband's support; if it is too much for you to accomplish, I would like you to refrain from allowing them to insult me."

Monica said, immersed in his deep blue eyes where the wave met the warm coast.

William's hand curled around Monica's waist and drew her close to his chest, driving her heart to sprint as his breath smashed on her lips.

"Have I not been there for you at breakfast?" William inquired.

“Y-You did!"

“ Since you have acknowledged we are husband and wife, I would try to listen to your tiny request, but you also have to hear me now," William's vision clouded and his nerves stretched tense
