William felt as though Monica's sobs had weakened him, and he felt the wrath totally drain from him as he moved gently towards her. He came to a halt directly before Monica and extended his hands to dry her tears but enraged Monica swatted at his hand and stepped behind him.

“Don't put your filthy hand on me. I loathe your presence around me. My love has been insulted to the extent where I regret ever expressing my affection to you," Monica angrily exclaimed, dabbing at her tears with the back of her palm. It grieved her to see him with a girl because she thought he was still Ben and that he could never hurt her, but she was so very wrong.

“I was not with a lady. "I purposefully paid a girl to remain with me, and my assistant shot photos of us, which I then forwarded to you by myself.”

Monica's hate and sorrow were too much for William to bear. He was becoming more and more stressed, so he told her the truth without hesitation because all he wanted was to have time with her.
