Chapter 16 End

“This game is over, right?” I asked him, he looked at the rear mirror.

Instead of answering me, he handed me the cheque and looked directly to me. I didn’t get it but he put it in my bag.

“Sorry, I just gave the cheque to you now, I promise I’ll give you the next pay on time,” he says.

I don’t know why he’s being like this now like there’s nothing happened earlier! This is crazy!

“Thanks for paying, but let’s just accept that this is over.”

“What do you mean?” he asks.

“Let’s stop pretending now, there’s no rea---”

“No!” I looked at him with a serious eyes.

“Who do you think you are to decide whether this st*pid pretending will end or not?” I ask coldly.

He didn’t answer me.

“Let’s stop fooling everyone, we have no reason to pretend anymore. That’s all I want to say,” I said as I opened the door and get off of the car.

“Don’t do this…” I stopped from walking when I heard his voice from behind. I blinked twice to force myself not to cry.
