Chapter 52 The past

"Why are you still here? I told you to leave," She exclaimed, pushing him and causing him to stumble backward.

Observing her rage, Aiden had no other option but to comply and exited the place. He headed to his car, where he sat, staring out of the window above him. Through the glass, he noticed a figure standing quietly in front of the window—it was Emine, lost in nostalgic reverie. She thought she would be numb to the pain but itseems she will never be able to heal.
