Chapter Twenty-Three LET THE FIREWORKS BEGIN

Lisa had settled into her new home in the Elven Kingdom and devised a schedule so that the twins could visit each other, even though they were just infants. Lisa and the baby were living in the Elven kingdom, but only a handful of people knew about it.

My daily walk into the woods involves taking the baby with me. Like a canopy, the trees shelter us from the outside world with their branches. Out of my canopy, I would walk into an open meadow with park benches and children playing ball and other games.

As I sat down, I put my diaper bag on the bench, brushed off some leaves from the bench.

It was so much fun watching the children play and laughing with an Elven man about my age. We are neither old nor young; I know this sounds strange, but we are not old.
