Renna POV

My fingers were bleeding, my knees were raw and the stench of bleach was burning my nose. It had been three and a half hours since Sage had left me. There were still at least 200 toilets to go on, and the toothbrush she gave me to clean had whittled down to a stub.

Every time I saw her, I couldn't help but feel an intense hatred. She was pure evil! I needed to find a way to beat her. The thought of Xavier's lips on mine lingered in my mind, helping me stay focused. The sensation of his lips on mine was perfect; it was like they were made to fit together. Perhaps I had been too hasty. If only I had agreed to be his Luna without question, I would be wrapped up in his warm embrace, kissing and hugging him right now.
