Chapter 24-Sweety?

The merry party finally came to an end in the early morning. When all the guests had passed through the main door to go home, Brandon immediately took Rachel to their room to rest. Rachel was clearly exhausted, so Brandon wasn't going to push his ego.

They could still do it later, he thought. His hand stroked Rachel's waist as she climbed into bed.

Rachel's own thoughts were filled with her promise to Kennedy. She just realized that she had one more day left to go in and out of Pack Manowi.

She had to be able to kill Brandon tonight.

Could she? The question hung inconclusively in her head. But no matter what, she had to try.

If it was past the allotted time-three days after her quarantine, then Kennedy's powers would not be able to penetrate the magnetic fence surrounding Pack Manowi anymore. Most likely Rachel would not be able to get out without Brandon's permission. And she didn't want that to happen.
