Allen that was the name she had chosen for herself in what was going to be her new life.

Letting go of being her father's daughter had been painful, but at the same time not as hard as it could have been.

In a way it did help that, aside for her family, she really had no more ties to that life.

It had taken about a week for her to organize her removal from her father side. Six whole days in which Allen had been very careful to stay holed up in her room. Barely speaking and making sure to keep her ears trained, listening for any sign of anyone within the hotel.

In theory the her father was now she living normal life, far away from the her father. But Allen didn't want to risk it. With her luck it was almost guaranteed she would be spotted.

She meets Trisha when she just starts her animal shelter, Trisha wants job and Allen want somone company. It was just too coincidental for anyone worth their salt to simply accept without investigating.
