Chapter 52: Death Of A Loved One

“Are you going to admit to your crime!” shouted Prince Frank.

“But I really didn’t do it,” lowly uttering her Nana.

“Whip her again!” exclaimed Prince Frank.

Austin was on the sideline watching the elderly woman. He thought with a scowl on his brows, “Damn it, they’re beating her to death and they’re not giving her a chance. They’re not listening to her.” He was clenching his fist into a tight ball now.

Juniper on the other hand sat next to Austin and was snickering at Nana. She looked at Austin and eyed him with a sneer of innocence.

Austin unclenched his fist and nodded back at her.

Juniper taking that as an acknowledgement of her, leaned into him and place her head on his shoulder.

Austin didn’t draw back. He just stay in his position, letting Juniper rest in his embrace. His eyes was focusing on the elderly woman before him. He was trying not to show any displease.

On the inside Austin was raging. “They’re basically forcing the elderly woman now. Making her admit to a crime she di
