Augustine sat across from Myra, his face serious and unwavering. He took a deep breath before speaking, his voice filled with urgency. "Myra, this is exactly what I was talking about when I suggested keeping Aeron close to us. What he did, it was risky, dangerous even. If it were ever discovered that he was the one behind it, it would lead back to you."

Myra gazed at Augustine, her brows furrowed with concern. "I know, Augustine," she replied, her voice trembling slightly. "But keeping him close to me…it would drive me insane. It would constantly remind me of what I've been through in his hands."

Augustine reached across the table, gently placing his hand over Myra's. "I understand," he murmured sympathetically. "But we have to consider the bigger picture here. Think about Alistar. How would it be for het to grow up without a family? Aeron may be dangerous, but he's our only chance at keeping our family together and safe."
