Atlas looked at me and I shook my head slowly, trying to tell him that it wasn't true.

His brows shot up and he looked at Kannon and looked back at me and I shook my head once more. I didn't know if he understood what my shaking head meant, but let's hope so.

But how to tell him to knock the rest unconscious proved to be difficult.

We didn't know how many they had at the camp, and if it was just the seven of them here. I hoped it was the seven though, if they end up being more, things would be hard.

I don't know why I wanted to assure Atlas that I wasn't really into Kannon, it felt bad seeing his face that way when I wasn't even his mate.

We are on this journey to get his mate back from Greta. And I should be the one angry about being lied to. I even said I was going to keep my distance from him throughout the journey. Who knew that we would be held captive by bandits on the same day we left?
