"Shhh!" Elisa told me to be quiet, her index finger on my lips. I closed my lips tightly.

"It's safe," Elisa said again, pulling her finger away from my lips.

My eyebrows raised in surprise. Why did she tell me to keep my mouth shut?

"Why mum?" I ask her.

"Just be alert. Because someone is watching us." Elisa said with a faint smile, then quickly finished her task of treating my wounds. I felt something warm embrace my heart. Alpha Mother had been very kind to me. She already knew that I was the real Queen Luna. Maybe that's why she cared so much for me. But how did she know? No wonder Rachel was so angry with me, because Alpha Mother's attitude was certainly different.

"If she hurts you again, I'll give her a warning." Alpha Mother looked at me seriously. She had finished and was about to get up from her position as she told me to eat. "When you're finished, have someone pick it up and clean it up."
