43. Werewolf Tragedy

Nadlyn was in shock as she witnessed the werewolf attacking Dario.

"Dario!" she cried out as Dario was carried away from her.

A sudden unexpected attack befell Dario. He fell hard, was thrown back, and collided with a large tree.

The assailant was none other than Damian, Dario's twin, who had apparently returned to Drakela. His face was unrecognizable. His red eyes radiated wild and bloodthirsty lust.

Nadlyn, a beautiful woman with long black hair, panicked as she watched the conflict. She recognized Damian, but he seemed completely overtaken by his werewolf nature, which had made him lose control. She feared that both of them would be severely injured.

"Damian, stop!" Nadlyn shouted with a trembling voice. "It's me, Nadlyn! Do you remember me?"

With a bewildered expression, Damian slowly ceased his attack. He glanced at Nadlyn briefly, trying to sense her presence amidst the turmoil consuming him.

But time was not on their side in this battle. Dario, severely wounded, lay helpless. H
