Third Person’s POV

“Bye, Vin.” Hugh, one of the student assistants that was assigned in the library waved goodbye as Irvin exited the glass door.

“Bye.”

The sky is filled with little stars that glitter above the shade of navy blue when Irvin stares at the open window of the building. It’s already past six when he finishes his research for his English report tomorrow. After he witnessed how cold Henrick was to him and he chose to date someone better, Irvin decided to focus on his study. It’s the best option. He thought to himself.

Irvin is trying to enjoy the deafening silence while walking in the deserted hallway. It’s the same feeling that he felt inside. Emptiness. He is breathing but there’s a burden that every time he inhales his heart is being stabbed. He’s wounded but there’s no cure for his illness. Only Henrick’s warmth. And love.
