Chapter 14 (The Book)

Elona's POV

I was dumbfounded to go out of the library room until I arrive at my room.

'What was just happened? I am just... Imagining things?'

I still can’t forget the kind of stance he had, I can’t be wrong. He is the one who did it to me.

I didn't take the key from my bag on my own when I felt that the book I had borrowed earlier in the library was still in my hand.

Shocks! I need to 'give it back!' I was about to go back to the library when suddenly it rained so hard.

I stopped immediately and with a smile, I held out my right hand so that the raindrops would fall there.

'It's cold! But it's freaking good!'

I am able to feel the strong pouring of it as I lifted my face to the sky while my eyes were still closed.

No matter how hard my life was at the hands of my Aunt, I still have the time to make myself smile because of the rain. I felt the cold grain of it hitting my face.
