Chapter 38

Rain went over to the side of the window and stood in front of it. The words of Odin were echoing in her mind.

Whenever she recalled them, she felt a blush spreading across her cheek, clouding her mind. She covered her face with her hands in response.

All of a sudden the sound of the lightning striking grabs her attention.

Dark clouds have covered the sky while raining heavily. Their backyard is filled with water and water.

The cold wind brushed past her cheeks making her feel cold than before. She swiped aside the curtains and tried to close the window. But it was stuck in place.

“Strange?” she used even more strength to close the curtains, but the window had become rusty, not moving from the spot.

“Is it jammed? What should I do now? The wind is cold.”

Seeing her futile attempts of closing the door, someone came from behind her and placed a hand on top of hers.
