"Sit!" Hidalgo gave a gesture at the table, and he pulled out a seat for me.

"T-thank you!" I shuttered to him, but my blue eyes were glancing befuddled at Rowan.

I shakily posed my butt on the seat, and Hidalgo gently sits on the chair opposite mine.

Through the corner of my eyes, I could notice some of the people in the restaurant glimpsing at us slyly, they were gossiping and muttering inaudibly.

“I heard she's a husband snatcher!”

“Yes, and I heard she crashed into the wedding and ruined everything!"

“She's exceptionally lovely in the face but her heart is black and vicious!"

The nasty comments were coming from each intersection of the restaurant, and I shifted uneasily in my seat.

I peeked up at Hidalgo's countenance and I saw him scowling at the people. Unexpectedly, he sprang to his feet and attempted to walk away.

"Hey, where are you going?" I asked him, my blue eyes blinking rapidly at him.
